Bill Tandy has 25 years of healthcare information technology experience in provider, consultant and vendor environments. He works directly with clients to resolve their IT and process challenges, ranging from developing and implementing IT roadmaps, to serving as an interim executive for clients. Tandy’s work also includes conducting application selections and clinical workflow analyses, as well as managing large, complex implementation and upgrade initiatives.
Tandy’s past experience includes being a Healthcare Client Executive for Perot/Dell Services, where he also served as an interim CIO for a large acute care facility. Previous positions include being a Principal/Senior Industry Expert – Healthcare for Computer Sciences Corporation, and the President and CIO of INTERIM, Inc. which provided interim healthcare leadership. In addition, Tandy was the Vice President and CIO at Mercy Health System.
Tandy is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and the American Hospital Association (AHA). Tandy holds a Master’s in Health Administration from the Indiana University School of Medicine, and a Master’s of Arts in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Oregon. Tandy earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Economics from Purdue University.
