The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) contains authorization for a $19B investment in healthcare technology. A key component of receiving benefit from this investment will be the ability to show "meaningful use" of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) in both the in-patient and ambulatory settings.
